At Riverview Lodge we offer a tranquil garden with stunning views of the Spencer Ranges as the backdrop for your wedding. We can also offer an indoor venue with that real lodge feel. We specialize in boutique/ elopement/micro weddings with a great team of wedding professionals.
We also have the option of “Full Lodge Book Outs” This means you get exclusive use of the entire venue, including accommodation, for 5 couples, so it is ideal for the Bride and Groom, parents and/or bridesmaids and grooms men.

Venue
Our venue is outdoors in the garden, with magnificent views and stunning gardens. We also have an indoor option for up to 40 people. The outdoor venue is suitable for up to 60 people. We can cater for up to 100 and are happy to accommodate this with the use of marquees, if you wish to hire them, and will work with the company you choose, to set up at the venue. We have a few wedding options starting with our “Full Lodge Book Out”. For this you will have exclusive rights to the venue for the day prior, The Big Day and the day after your wedding. You might also like to look at our Elopement Package or talk to us about our Micro wedding options.
We can offer a shuttle service from Hanmer Springs for the guests attending the wedding as we have limited parking on site. For your guests comfort, if you are have more than 10 guests, you would be required to hire a portable toilet. We can assist with this. We also have a gorgeous octagonal wedding arch for hire plus some other items. Talk to us today!! We want your day to be special.
Service
In our beautiful garden setting with the amazing backdrop of the Waiau River and Spencer Rangers we offer the ideal spot for a service of your own design. We leave the style and type of service to you for your special day.
Catering
Because your wedding day is something very special to you and your guests we like you to have choices around the catering. So, we can provided you with some great caterers who are happy to work with you and our venue or if you wish to use your own catering team we will be more than happy to oblige.
Photography
Your wedding day is something you need to capture on film. Because these memories will be so precious to you, we advise that you obtain your own wedding photographer. We are more than happy for them to come and view the venue prior to your big day.
